When we designed our vulcanized wall grommets, the starting point was the practical need of contractors and operators. We are active users ourselves — in our own water-meter pits and plastic tanks — so we developed solutions that are flexible, durable and genuinely easy to handle during installation.

The grommet creates a resilient interface between the pipe and the wall opening, providing long-term reliable sealing and mechanical protection at pipe and cable penetrations. Correct fit depends on the pipe outside diameter, the wall thickness and the geometry of the fabricated structure.

Standard sizes are available across a broad range and special configurations can be produced when the wall or pipe dimensions fall outside the normal catalogue.

How it seals

A sealing lip, not just a rubber ring

The grommet carries a closing sealing lip that presses against the inserted plastic pipe and does not let water pass back along it. At the same time it produces a drip-free seal, creating a flexible but watertight connection between the tank and the pipes entering it.

We manufacture the grommets to match the most common wall thicknesses. In DN50, for example, versions optimised for 4–6 mm, 7–10 mm and 9–12 mm walls are available. Accurate sizing gives a precise fit, reduces the risk of leakage and displacement, and contributes to the long-term operational safety of the structure.

When designing our vulcanized pipe-penetration rubber rings, the practical needs of contractors and operators were the primary consideration. We are active users ourselves (in water meter pits and plastic tanks), so we developed solutions that are flexible, durable and easy to handle during installation. Individually vulcanized penetration seals provide reliable sealing and mechanical protection at pipe and cable penetrations over the long term.

KPE/PP/PVC plastic pipe-penetration rubber rings for chamber-wall and tank-wall pipe connections. For perpendicular pipe connections into flat or slightly curved surfaces, where only the pressure arising from gravity is present.

The penetration ring has a sealing lip that does not let water pass back alongside the plastic pipe inserted into it. At the same time it provides drip-free tightness: a flexible but watertight connection is created between the tank and the pipes entering it.

We manufacture wall-penetration rings matched to the most common wall thicknesses: in DN50, for example, versions optimised for 4–6 mm, 7–10 mm and 9–12 mm wall thickness are available. Correct sizing ensures an accurate fit, reduces the risk of leakage and displacement, and contributes to the long-term reliability of the structure. Our products are available in the DN20–DN400 size range, and for individual requirements we also produce special designs.

The flexibility of the rubber makes placement easier, and thanks to individual vulcanizing the structure is strong, pushing out the maintenance interval over the long term.

Can the grommet be used in a curved tank wall?

Slightly curved fabricated walls can be used, but the geometry must be confirmed before manufacturing.

What wall thicknesses are available?

Versions exist for ranges such as 4–6 mm, 7–10 mm and 9–12 mm for selected sizes.

Is it suitable for pressurised lines?

It is designed for penetrations where only gravity-derived pressure is present. For pressurised connections a different solution is required.

Are custom diameters possible?

Yes, subject to tooling and technical review.
