Vulcanized Rubber Flange Gaskets
Reliable sealing for water-utility and industrial flange connections, with in-house manufacturing and application-specific material selection.
Overview
Moulded sealing elements built around the real operating conditions
The operational safety of a pipeline system often comes down to small details. A correctly selected rubber gasket does more than create a leak-free joint: over the long term it reduces maintenance demand, downtime and the risk of unexpected failures.
JAEQUAS manufactures vulcanized rubber flange gaskets for pipeline connections where dimensional consistency, elastic recovery and dependable long-term sealing are required. Our experience with moulded rubber products dates back to the foundation of the company in 1992, and we produce most of our vulcanized gaskets ourselves precisely so that quality stays under our own control.
Standard and non-standard geometries can be produced. For unusual dimensions, a technical drawing or a physical sample is the best starting point.
Key capabilities
- Manufactured range: DN20 to DN800
- General technical, potable-water suitable, general chemical-resistant, silicone, pentane-resistant and FKM (Viton®-type) compounds
- High-temperature versions for selected applications
- Standard and custom flange geometries
- Suitable for water networks, water meters, pumps, valves and industrial pipework
Material and process
What vulcanization actually gives you
During manufacturing, raw rubber compound is formed under heat and pressure into a crosslinked structure, and that structure determines the final mechanical and chemical properties of the gasket. The process is what makes a gasket simultaneously elastic, load-bearing and resistant to the stresses that occur in pipe systems.
A correctly specified and produced vulcanized gasket adapts to the manufacturing tolerances of pipes, flanges and fittings, while resisting pressure fluctuation, temperature change and the loads caused by ground movement. That matters most in distribution networks, chambers, water-meter assemblies and industrial connections, where the joint is rarely as perfect as the drawing suggests.
Why it holds up in the ground
- Elastic recovery keeps contact pressure after repeated compression
- Compound selected for the medium, temperature and chemical exposure
- Tolerates flange tolerances, pressure swings and ground movement
- Custom geometry where a catalogue part cannot fit

Operational safety often comes down to small details
The operational safety of pipeline systems often comes down to small details. A well-chosen rubber gasket does not only provide a leak-free joint — over the long term it also reduces maintenance demand, downtime and the risk of unexpected failures.
Our vulcanized rubber gaskets are produced in several versions: for general use, for high temperature, in FKM (Viton®), general chemical-resistant and silicone material grades. Manufactured size range: DN20–DN800.
During manufacture, the crosslinked structure that determines the final mechanical and chemical properties of the gasket is formed from raw rubber compound under heat and pressure. This process ensures that the gasket is at once flexible, load-bearing and resistant to the stresses typical of pipe systems.
Our portfolio ranges from classic flange gaskets through strainer, spacer, metal-reinforced and custom-designed rubber gaskets. By material we distinguish technical, (Hungarian) drinking-water approved, general acid-resistant, silicone and pentane-resistant types. We manufacture most of our vulcanized gaskets ourselves, to keep quality continuous.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Cannot find your answer? Send us the technical details and we will review the application.
Can you manufacture a non-standard flange gasket?
Yes. Custom geometries can be assessed from drawings, dimensions or a physical sample.
Which compounds are available?
General technical rubber, potable-water suitable compounds, general chemical-resistant compounds, silicone, pentane-resistant compounds and FKM (Viton®-type) elastomers, depending on the application.
Do you supply potable-water suitable compounds?
Yes. The required national approval must be confirmed for the destination market before specification.
What is the maximum size?
The manufactured range is DN20 to DN800. Larger diameters are available in reinforced or other configurations.
Are you a contractor or a network operator?
Send the flange data and operating conditions, and we will confirm the right compound and geometry.
